Innovations in Clinical Pharmacy: The Roadmap to a better Quality of Life
On behalf of the Iranian Society of Clinical Pharmacists (I.S.C.P), I warmly welcome you all to the "18th Asian Conference on Clinical Pharmacy (ACCP)” as well as the “9th Iranian Clinical Pharmacy Congress (ICPC)”, which will take place 20-22 June 2018 in Tehran, Iran. This joint conference will feature a highly interactive, inspiring and multidisciplinary program including plenary sessions, workshops, discussion panels as well as oral abstract presentations and poster sessions. I.S.C.P is proud of holding the greatest national clinical pharmacy congress in the last 8 years. Hopefully, the joint conference in 2018 will provide an ideal forum to exchange ideas and establish collaborations between international clinical pharmacists, community pharmacists, pharmaceutical scientists, and other health care providers. We will do our best to offer extended networking opportunities to foster communications between all delegates and invited keynote speakers.
Tehran is the capital of Iran, a metropolis with more than 12 million populations, located in north-central Iran at the foot of the Elburz mountain range. Its highest peak, “Mount Damavand”, has an elevation of more than 18,400 feet and is visible from Tehran on clear days. The central bazaar (traditional shopping center), with miles of roofed streets, domed trading halls, mosques, and caravanserais, remains a tourist attraction as well as a center of economic activity. Tehran has great museums, parks, restaurants as well as warm and friendly people. It deserves at least a few days of your visit to Iran.
I would like to take the opportunity to thank the president of ACCP, and all ACCP board members for privileging us by providing the opportunity to host the ACCP 2018.
Again, it is our great pleasure to welcome you to the 18th ACCP meeting in Tehran. We wish you an inspiring conversation across disciplines and across nations.
Prof. Jamshid Salamzadeh
President, Iranian Society of Clinical Pharmacists.
