Dear Colleagues and Friends,
It is with great pleasure to invite you to the 19th Asian Conference on Clinical Pharmacy on June 25-28, 2019 which will be held at the Fiesta Pavilion, Manila Hotel, Philippines with the theme, “Cultivating a Culture of Clinical Excellence for Quality Healthcare”. The concept for this year’s conference focuses on the “Three Stars and the Sun”. It is something unique to the Philippines as it is usually used to describe our Philippine flag. The symbols actually represent the essentials of clinical excellence – the sun is patient centered practice andthe three stars symbolizes competency, collaboration and compassionate service.
Clinical excellence is cultivated, it is something that is developed and you put intentional and purposeful effort into. It brings about a good harvest and fruits that will lead to quality healthcare. Clinical excellence has deeper meaning if it is anchored on the mission of providing patient centered practice which is actually the heart and main reason for the service we provide and everything we do.
The Asian Conference on Clinical Pharmacy (ACCP) is the leading force in Asia in initiating and promoting clinical pharmacy practice, education, and research. It is composed of clinical pharmacy practitioners, educators, researchers, administrators and other individuals that provide leadership, direction, advocacy, and a venue for exchange to promote excellence in clinical pharmacy practice, education and research in Asia. We have invited speakers here and abroad to share their expertise and experience, from whom we expect to gain new insights to further our knowledge and skills.
We would also like to share with you the hospitality and warmth of the Filipino people. We are excited to share with the delegates our rich Filipino culture, delicious food and beautiful places.
In behalf of the Organizing Committee of the ACCP, I am inviting you to take this opportunity to participate in this year’s Conference which promises to be another meaningful, enriching and memorable learning experience for all of us.
We look forward to welcome you to Manila, Philippines!
